I live in Pennsylvania, by Lake Erie, one of the Great Lakes.

I gotta have the Sunshine, so I understand why you would want to locate in Florida, the Sunshine state.
I've been there 5 or 6 times but not lately, drove from Tampa down along the Gulf coast to the Everglades and over to Fort Lauderdale/Maimi boarded a ship to the Bahama's and back. It's a different culture here I'm sure, but there are alot of Brits here. I would say we are less regulated with laws than you guys and less expensive. Rent a car and just travel across the whole US to the west coast .... mike
