When l woke this morning, it was with a certain sense of contentment....a sort of smugness!  You know the one....when the food shopping is done and away in the cupboard, the presents are not only bought, they are wrapped AND delivered. The only thing on the 'to do' list was the lovely walk in the fields. And this we did.....and all was going well.  When we got home and Finn had his rub down, then we saw the blood. The blood from the wound on his back leg. We havent a clue how it happened.  The smugness from the morning disappeared in a flash as we were off in the car to Pet Medics out of hours.  Staples, bandages, antibiotics and a very sorry for himself little Finn followed.  Serves me right for thinking l had it all under control just for once!!  Happy Christmas everybody....have a good one!

Sorry to here about Finn's wound .  If he's anything like Alfie it will be healed really quickly. Within a couple of weeks it was totally healed ! Hope you managed to have a lovely x-mas.

Alfie is making great progress and its hard to keep him quiet and calm now as he wants to charge about !

Guess what I got just before x-mas .... ?  A gorgeous new pup called Harris !   He is black with a white flash on his chest and throat . He has already settled in and follows the big boys around. It's so cute, we love him and hope he turns out like Alfie !

Have a good new year. All the best.

Congrats on your new family member. We also have a liitle 4 month old Black cocker with a white smudge on this neck and front and, guess what, he's called Alfie!

We also have a Springer and a Beagle and its fantastic to see them all playing together, It's even better when they're all snuggled up together in one big bed :-)
