Looks aren't everything and shouldn't be the first thing one considers, as natural ability is or should be our aim, we can refer to the bench crowd to see my point, however I do like to see and work a good looking dog/bitch. Something that is pleasing to the eye.

What do others consider to be a good lookin' cocker, I might add body movement/action/hunting style as well.?

It's probably easier to say what I don't like. I don't like the eyes too far apart or thin pointy nose.

Mine are all different colours and shapes and sizes, with lost of coat and without, so quite happy as long as I don't have the above!

Ever heard of the Nanny McFee syndrome...she starts off being dog butt ugly and as the kids get to know and like her a bit more and a bit more she starts to look better and better, until she ends up looking like the very sexy Emma Thompson.

Well that's very much like our Tegwyn, but somehow I get the feeling she will never be as good looking as the alluringly sexy  Emma Thompson.

I like long ears and tails with a big plume ( neither of my dogs were bought for working so had their tails)...If they have two colours I like symetrical face markings...saying that Spike had small ears and I loved everything about him.....

I like my dogs to be like my men, strong jaws - but with a gentle mouth - and aware of when to keep it shut. I like curly hair on:roll: longish ears - on the dog is fine, inside or outside on the man is not acceptable. Love hairy feet - dog only again.  Hairy chest - preferably a different colour to rest of dog and/or man.  Working ability essential in both - to put food on the table :D Able to take hand directions - man is frequently shown  the 2  finger version   Snoring is perfectly acceptable in the dog, I find this cute and atrractive - sadly not so in the man.  Dont mind the dog shaking his wet coat all over the car/house - woebetide man if he does this. Find the dog still extremely adorable even after several misdeamenours - man , not so.
