For about the past year my poor cocker Toby has had such a dry and at times sore nose! It is never black and shiny anymore, I have tried everything from Emu Oil (gamefair purchase!) to Vaseline but nothing really seems to help - any ideas, he would be so grateful!!

My GSP had a very dry cracked sore nose when I got her at 2 years old, I cured it with evening primrose oil that I was taking at the time. Take a capsule stick a pin in it and squeeze it on to the nose 2 or 3 times a day. It took a couple of weeks but each day it improved, it started to repair itself in one area and just spread till it was back to how a dogs nose should be.
