CAESSR dog rescue have a lovely young working cocker in need of a new home.

http://www.caessr.org.uk/dogs-needing-homes.html

There is a photo of him on the site and they have described him thus

'Wilson is a 12 month old Gold and White working Cocker, who is looking for a new owner, who can offer him lots of stimulation and exercise. He is living with two very young children and Wilson has growled at them and has nipped one of them, when he was being stroked. He is good with other dogs, but has not lived with a cat. He pulls a bit on the lead and althogh he has been off lead his recall may need a little more training. Wilson travels very well in the car.'

He looks a stunner............handsome and cheeky. the former owners must have been distraught when they gave him up

lost my 14yr old lab 3wks ago and am very tempted, he's gorgeous. I'm sure my little black cocker bitch would love him.

maybe too soon to get another dog but will mention it to the Boss (aka The Wife).

Wilson is still waiting for his forever home  (to tempt you a little bit more). :)

Do you know what area Wilson is in by any chance?

I'm pleased you asked that Barbara as I would like to know that too.

Friends of mine are looking for a cocker past the puppy stage and he might be just the dog for them.  He is a dead ringer for our Sandy - pictured aside - and they love him to bits.....and, yes, Sandy is very handsome and extremely cheeky!  He is also very gentle and has a very caring nature especially with our young bitches.  If Wilson is the same, he'll make some lucky person a very loyal companion.

CAESSR's is a Midlands based rescue although they will take in dogs from other areas.

Their kennels are in Staffordshire.

All of their contact details are on the web site. :)
