Ive got my finger out and started to plant all sorts of seeds for my raised beds, Im also just back from a round trip to the garden centre on foot with my Lab Drake and purchased some lovely "Black Cherry" tomato plants.
Ive planted various, cucumbers, peppers and chilli's, tatties, peas, brocolli, carrots, sunflowers & spinach and thats just for starters.
Anyone else planting seeds etc or and planning their veggies

I envy you, we tried having an allotment for a couple of years BO (before Ollie!). Trouble was we could not devote enough time to that and keeping our back garden in order. Although our garden is not very big we both like it a lot, and we were failing on both fronts so we gave up the plot.
However we grow a few bits and pieces at home, and nothing tastes nicer than things you've grown yourself.
Have you ever grown your own new potatoes (Jersey Royals are great if you can get them)? Boiled whole un-peeled, tossed in real butter and sea-salt - my mouth is watering at the thought!

My fav tatties Neill are "Pink Fir Apple" as promoted by Hugh Fernley Whittingstall in his river cottage series. The have a wee web site, these can be grown as you know in pots and thats how I grow mine.

We lave our current garden laid to lawns and shrubs at the moment so don't grow veggies although we do have a few fruit trees. However, when we move (if we EVER manage to get our Planning Permission sorted out!) we are going to have a large garden and plan a vegetable plot amongst other things. I haven't grown veggies for years so I'm looking forward to it (I think!)
