I was just sitting at my pc browsing some forum topics when little Katy appeared with the morning post, still with the elastic band around it, she brought it into the study, gave it to me and then lay down for another chew at her hide bone. None of my other cockers have ever done this, or anything similar unless I send them for a particular item or they bring us things as a greeting gift or if they want to play.  She really is the most charming little dog, she even gets away with taking toys from Honey who is definately boss, if Honey grrrs, Katy puts her nose in Honey's mouth as if to say 'you don't mean that, do you'.   It got me to thinking that every day my girls bring me great pleasure and without them life would be very dull indeed.:)

That is so lovely! Bertie has started to bring me the post although he likes to run around with it for a little while before handing it over, it's like he is showing off with his 'find'. Never a dull day with a WCS! :D

One in this house too. He brings mobile phones, remote for the telly, magazines and shoes. He sits with them in his mouth until you notice him, say dead and take them. The weirdest thing is when he's eaten, he picks his bowl up, walks in a circle, then sits and presents it, does it every time and I've no idea where that came from, pity he isn't as consistent with a canvas dummy.

We have a post collector here too.  Barney brings it to us every day - it's his self-appointed task and he thinks he's really clever!  Sandy and Bracken go for their Dad's shoes when they want to go out.  Amber just acts the lady and lets US wait on her!

All of mine are very 'giving' with all types of things too, although I have to say, if you don't take them when they are offered to you, you may never see them again LOL:D especially if it's a tea towel, socks or trainers!!!

Murphy is very giving, especially with my glasses. No matter where I hide them he will find them, bring them to me, and if I'm not quick enough he will do off  with them. Then the fun begins!!
