You have to laugh don't you. Our crew have developed a distinct liking for popsicles....
We have a paddling pool in the garden which the dogs like to cool off in during the summer. Yesterday Switch was using her paw to break the thin ice, then carrying off large sheets of the ice to eat, with a crew of unruly youngsters chasing after her to grab a piece for themselves. This ended in a very nosiy mass ice-crunching before Switch went back to the pool to grab another sheet and try to get back to her kennel with it, and then it all started again.
Cockers, certainly little characters!

LOL!! Mine do that as well!!
The only down side I have found, is that when I drop a glass in the kitchen, the sound is the same as ice and they all come running!! Not good. Luckily I have a good 'Leave it' command.
Mine have also eaten glass christmas tree decorations in the past!

Mine do the same with the water dishes that have been outside during the night, especially if they can see any bits of shingle through the ice that need picking up lol:lol:

Not quite so impressive but Switch also does a pretty good turn at walking on her hind legs. I have always said that if the trialling doesn't work out we can always take to the road with an all-cocker circus act.

Sandy does the walking on hind legs thing but goes backwards. Amber does it too but forwards and can also spring so high on her hind legs that she can kiss me on the nose which she does a lot! She also jumps up and points with her front paw at what she wants off the kitchen worktops. Bracken is a bit too young yet to have developed too many tricks but I'm sure she will in time!

Maisie sits up on her hind legs like a Meerkat; not sure if that is a Cocker thing or just her thing as I have never seen it before!
